How Do I Set-Up Automatic Rent Payments on Apartments.com?
 

1.   To pay your rent on Apartments.com, you'll first need to be invited by your property manager or our leasing team.  Once invited, you will receive an e-mail from Apartments.com.  You'll want to click the "Set up Payments" button in the e-mail, or login to your Apartments.com account.

2.   If you don't have an Apartments.com renter account yet, go ahead and sign up for one using the link provided by your property manager or our leasing team.  If you already have an Apartments.com account, click on "Please Sign In" to sign into your account.

3.   Once you have logged in, click on "Set Up Payments" button to get started.

​

4.   First, you'll need to add a payment account.  You can add a Credit or Debit card, or you can connect a Bank Checking or Savings account for direct ACH and Auto-Pay.  If you're using a card to make payments, you'll be ready to pay as soon as you add the card.  If you're using a Checking\Savings account, you'll need to verify your account first.  This takes at-least 2-3 business days.

5.   Next, is setting up your Recurring Monthly Rent payment.  You specify the amount you want to pay each month, and the day of the month that you'd like to start processing your payments.  Keep in mind that Card payments take 1-2 business days while ACH payments take about 5 business days to transfer payment and deposit, so try to schedule your recurring monthly payment to initiate no later than the first of every month.

6.   Finally, please make sure to setup payments for any Move-In costs, like Pro-Rated Rent, Security Deposits and\or One-Time expenses.  You can set what amounts you'd like to pay and when exactly to remit payments.

7.   After you've gone through all setup steps, you'll be asked to review and confirm all details and information.  Once validated, click "Confirm and Submit" to complete your Apartments.com renter profile setup!

Registration and online rent payments are FREE for all our renters (when you link your desired Bank Account)!  Apartments.com charges for: Credit-Reports, Background-Checks, and Rent Payments made with a Credit / Debit card.
